After initiating the take-off roll late in the evening, the 747 started to swerve and ran into the grass before stopping. The aircraft suffered damage and had to stay at MST for repairs until June 2018.

Departing runway 03 to Katowice. The route would end at the end of that season, ending Wizz Air operations after 3 years. The airline only started flying to MST again in late 2025, starting with the Tuzla-Maastricht route.

This Dash 8 almost couldn't be further away from home, being from Papua New Guinea. It stayed at MST until May 2018, then went to Iceland and later to Peru, before ending up in Papua New Guinea again in 2022. What a life!
